Split Open/Unfolding

On my journey of self-love and self-discovery I have felt split open. I have felt that my sincere self has finally burst through my skin and I am unfolding as I create myself. This series reflects the idea of feeling either sick inside and wanting to break free or bravely splitting open past ideologies and unfolding into the unknown. It’s hard to speak the truth if you have to make it perfect, so these pieces are an outlet for the emotions and energy of my transformational period.
