Get to know me through my work.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to change your decor at home. Maybe you want to capture a milestone or a memory. Or maybe you have a blank space on the wall that needs to be filled. Whatever it is, my creative process starts by connecting with my client and learning what is important to them. Then, I let my intuition lead the way with the design. Often, healing, peace, or joy are found at the conclusion of our journey together when the work is brought to its new home.
Make it soft and peaceful.
Watercolor can be loose and light but my style is more flowy yet detailed. Contrasting highlights and shadows creates a depth to the image. The use of water creates beautiful blends and blooms that can’t be replicated in another medium. I paint on coldpress watercolor paper which has a slight texture and holds the pigment well.
Make it bold and detailed.
Want to make a bold statement? Acrylic is the way to go. Color is integral to my acrylic style and there is no shortage of texture either. Acrylic on stretched canvas can be designed in large format to whatever specifications your space has.
Make it feel like home.
Watercolor home portraits are a perfect way to capture a new home, old home, vacation home, or family home. Add seasonal foliage or local wildlife for a unique detail. Home portraits are most commonly done in 5x7” on coldpress paper but other sizes are accommodated.
Make it warm and fuzzy.
Watercolor pet portraits capture the personality of your beloved family members. They also make fantastic stationery when a set of prints is added to your order! Pet portraits are most commonly done in 5x7” on coldpress paper but other sizes are accommodated.
